PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: 06/12/2026
Last Updated: 06/12/2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Flood Rescue (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit https://floodrescueok.com/, call or text us, request an estimate, or use our emergency restoration services. Flood Rescue is part of the American Restoration Operations (“ARO”) family of companies. ARO is our parent company, and we share certain information with ARO and its affiliated brands as described in this Policy.
We have written this Policy in plain language so that you can understand your choices. If you have questions, contact us using the information in the “How to Contact Us” section.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Contact and identifying information you give us, such as your name, mailing address, service address, email address, and phone number.
- Service information about your property and your request, such as the type of damage (for example, water, fire, smoke, or mold), the location and condition of the affected areas, photographs, insurance details, and scheduling information.
- Payment information needed to bill for services.
- Communications, including the content of calls, texts, emails, web form submissions, and chat messages, and recordings and transcripts of phone calls as described in Section 5.
- Website and device information collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, links clicked, and similar usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 6.
We collect information directly from you, automatically through our website and phone systems, and from third parties such as our answering service, insurance partners, and advertising and analytics providers.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide emergency restoration and related services.
- Schedule, perform, document, and bill for work.
- Communicate with you about your project, including by phone, text, and email.
- Operate, improve, secure, and analyze our website and services, including through analytics and reporting tools.
- Market our services to you, subject to your choices and applicable law.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights, property, and safety and that of others.
4. How We Share Information
We share information with:
- ARO and its affiliated brands, for the business and operational purposes described in this Policy, including shared customer service, marketing, reporting, and back-office functions.
- Service providers and vendors that perform functions on our behalf, described by category rather than by name so this Policy stays current: call tracking and recording providers, answering services, customer relationship management (CRM) and job-management platforms, website hosting and analytics providers, online advertising platforms, review and reputation-management providers, email and text-message delivery providers, data warehousing and business-intelligence providers, and artificial-intelligence tools used for transcription and analysis.
- Advertising and analytics partners, as described in Section 6.
- Professional advisors, insurers, and other parties involved in your claim or project, where appropriate.
- Legal and safety recipients, such as law enforcement or regulators, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your sensitive personal data, and we do not sell or share your biometric data. Where applicable law treats certain advertising-related data sharing as a “sale” or as “sharing” or “targeted advertising,” you may exercise the choices described in Section 9.
5. Call Recording, Monitoring, and Automated Processing
When you call or text Flood Rescue, your call may be recorded, monitored, and transcribed for quality assurance, training, scheduling, documentation, and service-improvement purposes. Some calls are answered or handled by a third-party answering service on our behalf.
We use automated and artificial-intelligence tools to transcribe and analyze calls and messages, for example to summarize requests, route work, and improve service quality. We provide a notice at the beginning of recorded calls. By continuing a call after that notice, or by texting us, you consent to recording, monitoring, transcription, and automated analysis as described here. If you do not wish to be recorded, you may ask to continue by another method or end the call.
We do not use these tools to create a voiceprint or any other biometric identifier, and we do not use call recordings to identify you through biometric means.
6. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. We use:
- Analytics tools that help us understand how visitors use our site.
- Advertising and remarketing tools that help us show ads on our site and on other platforms, including search, social, mapping, and review platforms, and that measure ad performance.
- Lead-capture forms that collect the information you submit to request service.
- Chat or messaging features, if offered, that may record the content of your chat.
- Session and interaction tools that may record page interactions to help us improve the site.
Some of these technologies may be provided by third parties that receive information about your device and browsing. Depending on your state, this activity may be considered “targeted advertising,” a “sale,” or “sharing” of personal information. You can manage these technologies through our cookie banner (where available), your browser settings, and the opt-out choices in Section 9.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal; because there is no common industry standard, we may not respond to it. We do, however, honor recognized universal opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by applicable law, and treat them as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device from which the signal is sent.
7. SMS and Text Messaging Terms
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, Flood Rescue may send you text messages. The following terms apply:
- Program description. We send service-related texts (such as appointment, scheduling, and project updates) and, if you opt in to marketing, promotional texts about our services.
- Consent. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, you give your prior express consent (and, for marketing texts, your prior express written consent) to receive automated text messages from Flood Rescue at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies.
- Rates. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to cancel. After you send STOP, we may send one confirmation message. You may also opt out by contacting us using the information in Section 13.
- Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the information in Section 13.
- Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Family of brands. Your consent to receive texts from Flood Rescue does not constitute consent to receive texts from other ARO brands. Each brand obtains its own consent.
We honor opt-out requests promptly. We send marketing texts only during permitted hours under applicable law.
8. Data Retention and Security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information to us at your own risk.
If we determine that a security incident affecting your personal information has occurred, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law.
9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- To confirm whether we process your personal information and to access it.
- To obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
- To correct inaccurate personal information.
- To delete your personal information.
- To opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and certain profiling.
- To obtain a list of the categories (and, where required, the specific third parties) with which we have shared personal information.
- To withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- To not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us using Section 13. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days, and we may extend that period where permitted. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we decline your request, you may appeal by contacting us at the same address; if we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general or privacy regulator.
We honor recognized universal opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control where required by law.
This Policy provides rights-based language modeled on the broadest applicable standards (including California-style rights) so that residents of every state we serve can exercise meaningful choices, regardless of whether their state has yet enacted a comprehensive privacy law.
10. Sensitive Information and Health-Related Information
In the course of providing restoration services, we may receive information related to property conditions (such as mold, water, or smoke damage) and, in limited cases, information that could relate to the health of people at a property. We use this information only to provide and document our services and for the purposes described in this Policy. We do not sell this information, and we share it only as needed to provide services or as required by law. We obtain consent for processing sensitive information where applicable law requires it.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or, where applicable law sets a higher age, under 16 or 18). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
